What do you guys think? Is Facebook the new Big Brother of our generation, or is it just a matter of "you can't have your cake and eat it too"?

I'm not a huge fan of cake,

I'm not a huge fan of cake, to be honest…

I most certainly would call Facebook the new Big Brother of our generation, a devious creation to be sure!

"Marc Rotenberg, executive director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, said in this case the company is making money off a person's name or likeness without their consent. He calls it 'subtle and misleading' and says users should object." This user objects! Just because I "liked" the band Hollywood Undead doesn't mean I want a sponsor re-posting that news feed to all my friend's walls. In a more trivial objection: one of my Facebook friends is my girlfriend's grandmother, she is very curious about that which she is hearing of for the first time - I don't much care to have her reading lyrics/listening to any of HU's songs! o.O

Now if someone wants to sponsor the WSFF advertising links I post with my other identities then that is fine by me! :D

That actually is a good idea to turn their new revenue stream against them!
