I guess I'll try this out...

Being new here I have no idea how you all feel about.. well, everything for that matter. So, can you share with me your opinions on society, and todays way of life in general? The fallowing is me "ranting" or "venting", whatever you call it. You can read it and give me some feedback, or skip it all together and just tell me your opinions, so I can get a feel for the people on here :)

I'm a US citizen. This may sound a bit radical, but because this category of the forum permits me to rant, why not, right? Anyways, because I was born in the United States I am forced to fallow their laws. And they (when I speak of "their" and "they" I refer to the government) provide me with only one option: if I don't like it, leave. But where ever I go it will be the same.

They "grant" us our freedoms. They "allow" us to do things. If it weren't for them I could do whatever I please. I'm not really saying this is a bad thing, I appreciate them protecting me and all, but I never asked for it. I only have this one life here on earth, and I can't even do what I want with it. I want to jump off a bridge into a river? Nope, if they catch me doing it I'll be arrested. I'm not endangering anyone else, so what is the problem?

Oh and they decide I have to pay for the things I don't want through taxes? Haha, don't even get me started...
