Fingerprint use in Schools

OK, I'm new here, and this thread will be my first thoughts on the Vast Machine on this forum.

Well, we all know what fingerprint recognition is, and I have found, like many others, that its use is becoming increasingly prevalent around the world. My school has a system called 'Parent Pay' that requires students to use fingerprint recognition to buy things like new school uniform, school diners, etc, and purchases are recorded. Slowly, cash is being forced out to make way for yet another extension of the Vast Machine. Now, I'm not entirely sure where this information goes, but looking at Parent Pay's website, I found that it has introduced its system to other schools across the U.K. I'm not good with this sort of thing, but I imagine that Parent Pay is receiving Government funding, and all the information goes to the Government, giving them a direct insight into what we eat. Thats the main function, and with parents willingly using the system to prevent their children from having cash and using it for chocolate or whatever else after school, it has caught on. My parents got it done immediately, and I didn't eat at school for weeks, and would get in and have loads of food then, to make up for it: Thats how much I hated it. But, I digress.

My point is, though this is only focusing on schools it is still part of the Vast Machine. Though I must continue with it, I obviously disagree with it. This is forcing me to have everything I eat monitored like ourselves under the gaze of cameras. It feels like a miniature Norm-All system explained in The Golden City: Everyone has their own equation, and depending on what kind of foods we eat or if we eat at all, we have a prediction of what out health will be like in the future. We are a number. That could be a good thing getting a prediction on our future health, but the idea that everything we eat is recorded annoys me. Perhaps I'm exaggerating and this entire post is stupid, but I hope that the like-minded people here see what I mean about this fingerprint system.

So, thoughts on the system? Thoughts on any points I have put forward (if any)?
